I've been listening to the soundtrack from the movie Away We Go a lot lately. It features Bob Dylan, George Harrison, The Velvet Underground, The Stranglers and Alexi Murdoch who is brand new to me. It always puts me in a good space. I love mellow, easy, relaxing music especially when my day is busy and loud.
Golden Brown is one of the Stranglers biggest hits from the early eighties but I think it sounds so modern. I can't get enough of it. The video is a little dated but try not to let it distract you. Have a listen...
The second video is Alexi Murdoch singing All of my days. He really does sound like Nick Drake which I think makes him even more wonderful.
